What is smart glass?

Smart glass is an innovative material with a variable transparency function. The film from LCD material is placed between two thin layers of glass. In the off mode liquid crystals scatter light, the surface remains matte, absolutely opaque. When the power is supplied, the crystals change their position and make the glass completely transparent. In both modes, the amount of emitted light remains unchanged. Matte glass surface with adjustable transparency does not darken the surroundings.

Types of smart glass

Smart glass is made by a unique technology – triplexing method using EVA film.

Depending on the features of the project, you can choose Smart glass of various shades: Milky white or Grey shade.

Low power consumption: starting from 4 W per sq. m.
Glass thickness can be from 7.5 mm to 30 mm
